Podium Finish for Fitzpatrick Racing at Premier Speedway!! Saturday we set eyes on the Warrnambool Speedway for the first time to contest the 2nd round of the VMPA series.

Heat 1, Lachie started toward the rear of the field in P9, whilst learning the track he moved forward one spot to finish in P8. A few simple changes and we hoped for a better run in heat 2 starting from P3. Lachie jumped into the lead early, and on a very rough track, he managed to lead the whole 10 lap race, closely followed by a hard charging Brad Wicks!

This would qualify Lachie from P5 for the pole shuffle. Lachie lost his shuffle and would start from P6. An unfortunate crash between the top 2 qualifiers, would see them retire from the feature race putting Lachie out of P4. At the start of the feature Lachie moved into P3 and with one car dropping out in-front, he quickly found himself in P2. On a treacherous track he managed to rip the right hand door off but hold onto 2nd for his first podium finish in both Modified Sedans and the VMPA series!

Since then the developer has been using the test to, well, test things: rotating maps in and out, adding new features one by one, and generally fine-tuning this thing before the masses descend. And that time is at hand.
